Ouh, we love Lace...

     Hey, You !

While the weeks pass by and Holidays are coming , we are still in to school work with some new tests upon us. This time we got an assigment that all four of us liked. We *needed to buy a warp knitted fabric made of synthetic filament fibers, examine it and design a peace of lingerie.

We bought a pink 100% polyester lace and designed garment like this:

After creating our garment , we needed to do two tests -  fabric burst strength test and color fastness test.

We started with burst strength test.  At first one of us cutted out 4 peaces of lace while the rest of us were figuring out how to place a peace of fabric in the machine. We got around it quit quick and started testing.

     These were the test results:

The next test was even easyer but more time consuming. When testing color fastness to perspiration you have to put peaces in something that You could call fake sweat and after that in the microwave oven for four hours at 36 degree temperature.

After 4 hours we had only one conclusion - there were no big changes in the material so we decided that the result for this test is 4.

Have a nice week!

Best wishes,

                        The CB's
